IWCA Global in Guatemala: A Week of Learning, Connecting and Empowering with Women in Coffee

We are very happy to have welcomed the IWCA Global Board of Directors to Guatemala during the week of January 13-17, 2025, to visit the Guatemalan Women's Coffee Association.

During these days, we carried out a series of activities that highlighted the impact of working together, including an enriching visit to the ANACAFÉ facilities with a cupping session, where our members honed their skills to identify flavor and quality profiles; a training in collaboration with DISAGRO, focused on sustainable agricultural practices to improve the productivity and development of coffee farms; and an elegant welcome cocktail that allowed us to celebrate this very special visit and strengthen networks with strategic allies in the sector.

These activities not only enriched our participants, but also reaffirmed our shared commitment to empowering women in coffee and building a more inclusive and sustainable future for our community. Thank you, IWCA Global, for inspiring us with your visit!
